EVERFI is seeking a Product Manager for their Data Platform.  This individual is responsible for product development of all data capabilities across EVERFI’s key business priorities. This includes managing the data platform throughout the product lifecycle, defining and communicating the data platform vision, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, and working closely with engineering and other matrixed functions to deliver data solutions that solve customer problems.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with key business stakeholders to craft the data platform vision and strategy given the business objectives of the various Networks
  • Build the data platform roadmap considering needs of multiple audiences including learners of all ages, customer administrators, program sponsors, and internal stakeholders
  • Conduct research, including in-person conversations with existing and potential partners, to understand customer needs and establish product market fit
  • Serve as product lead for cross-functional team of Researchers, Data Analysts, Data Engineers, and Platform Engineers to guide execution of the roadmap and deliver best-in-class learning platform reporting and data solutions
  • Establishing priorities, manage the data platform backlog and communicating with key stakeholders – , balancing the needs of the business with those of the technology
  • Analyze inputs from customers, the market, and other key audiences to inform new data platform requirements
  • Translate a deep understanding of the competitive landscape into clear platform recommendations
  • Specify and document functional requirements, acceptance criteria, and priorities for data platform user experiences
  • Identify and manage product dependencies within and across partner teams and the likely downstream impacts due to strategic decisions or resource conflicts
  • Validate new data features and UX designs through user testing and iterative development
  • Present proposed and new feature concepts to a large audience of EVERFI stakeholders and customers
  • As necessary, assist with beta and pilot programs for early-stage products and go-to-market product release plans
  • Contribute to defining and refining product development processes
  • Travel as necessary for strategic sales meetings, partner visits and industry events
  • Other job-related duties as assigned

Desired skills, experience, and qualifications:

  • 4+ years of product management or similar experience in a software development environment with a focus on data products
  • High energy, drive, and a passion for building scalable products
  • Leadership DNA and proven ability to excite and motivate a software development team
  • Strong organizational skills, excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proven ability to deliver on commitments
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills 
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization solutions
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies like Scrum is a plus
  • Experience with Google Suite, JIRA, Salesforce, and Figma a plus
