The Vice President, Growth New Business is responsible for coaching and mentoring Account Executives to produce net new revenue growth. The Vice President will directly manage a team of Account Executives and Sales Managers. This position is aligned to our Workplace Culture suite of products.

Responsibilities

  • Coach and mentor Account Executives on all aspects of the sales process
  • Mange team leads to ensure consistency in approach across the team, achievement and goals, sharing of best practices, and cross training.
  • Educate and make sure Account Executives adhere to sales processes and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Meet and exceed teams annual and quarterly revenue targets as well as other key performance objectives.
  • Assess individual performance through observation and measurement and suggest corrective actions as needed
  • Help hire, train, onboard, and motivate high-performing Account Executives focused on consultative sales methodologies and activities
  • Present regular sales forecasts to EVERFI Leadership Team
  • Provide regular and meaningful insights to the Executive team on team performance, market trends, product feature requests, and competition
  • Take full ownership of team effectiveness on all aspects of the sales process including discovery client presentations, proposals, contract negotiations, and final close
  • Partner with Account Management and Sales Enablement team to ensure seamless client delivery in the sales and post sales process
  • Provide continuous input and feedback on the go-to-market strategy for products, growth and hiring decisions.
  • Partner with internal teams to recommend enhancements and help maximize go to market strategy including marketing, product and sales enablement
  • Travel as needed to industry events and in-person meetings with prospective clients to assist in the development of key relationships
  • Other job-related duties as assigned

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelors in a business or related field, Masters Degree preferred
  • 7+ years of experience selling SaaS solutions with a history of meeting and exceeding team quotas and revenue goals
  • 2+ years experience managing a team
  • A proven record of hands-on sales leadership with strong people management skills and experience building high-performing sales teams
  • Leadership and mentorship skills
  • Experience designing high performing sales processes including messaging, metrics, methodologies, and tools
  • Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to forecast and track activities and opportunities, Salesforce preferred
  • Excellent problem solving, project management, and change management skills
  • Results oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time as needed
