EVERFI Certified Teacher FAQs

What is the EVERFI Certified Teacher Program?

The EVERFI Certified Teacher Program is a self-paced competency-based professional development and micro-credentialing program focused on effectively implementing EVERFI’s online curricula with students. As educators implement, the program provides access to resources and the opportunity to share and collaborate with a community of teachers from across the country. Educators submit evidence of their successful implementation in order to earn a micro-credential in either Financial or STEM education. Evidence includes completing an implementation plan, providing educator and student reflections, sharing a best practice with other educators and completing a short survey.

We will consider U.S. educators of all subjects with students in Grades 3-12, as long as they are committed and able to integrate online financial education resources into their classroom.

What do I need to do to earn the microcredential?

To earn the micro-credential, teachers must watch the training videos, implement one of the courses with students, complete an implementation plan, reflect on their implementation, share a best practice on a social media platform and share EVERFI with a colleague. If you are interested in joining this semester’s cohort, please complete the short application form below.

What are the benefits?

How much does the certification cost?

There is no cost to use EVERFI’s K-12 learning courses thanks to funding from partnerships secured by EVERFI.
