About EduCup
EduCup harnesses the spirit of competition by challenging students to use one (or more!) of the five digital courses co-created by EVERFI, professional sports leagues, and partners. These courses cover a variety of topics including STEM, character development, math and reading, community engagement, and more! Competitions will be based on the student’s region; all regions will include teams from each league. Students will have the opportunity to win a $1,000 scholarship or laptop/tablet and school faculty members will have the chance to win their school $5,000 towards technology to help with the digital divide.

Fun & Engaging Courses
EVERFI, together with the NFL & United Way Worldwide, MLS, MLB, the NHL & NHLPA have made available engaging courses for students, covering important topics such as leadership, STEM, reading and math, and character development. Students and faculty will connect with their home sports team through a branded portal and engage with educational topics presented through relatable programming.
Field Day
Get ready for the first annual Virtual Field Day! We are bringing this common outdoor event to your personal screens! Be prepared for a fun day of activities and interaction with some of your favorite professional sports teams and clubs! The winner of this event will be determined on how many students from their respective region Team (North, South, East, West) register and sign in on the day of the event!
Contest Winners
Students and faculty who participate in the EduCup Challenge 2021 and are a team member of the winning region will be eligible to win a scholarship or other prizes! Applicable students will be considered once they’ve started an EVERFI course, and answer a set of questions. Applicable faculty will be considered once their school has started an EVERFI course, and submitted answers to a set of questions. Winners will be selected by EVERFI.
Contest winners will be notified via email.
