In the six years since the release of the Dear Colleague Letter, and the four years since the passage of the VAWA amendments to the Clery Act, colleges and universities across the country have devoted unprecedented attention, time, and resources to preventing sexual assault on campus.

EverFi’s Campus Prevention Network, in collaboration with It’s On Us, will be hosting a free 60-minute webinar to examine the current state of sexual assault prevention to identify positive national trends in higher education and spotlight areas that schools need to continue to focus their attention.

During the webinar, EverFi’s Senior Director of Prevention Education, Holly Rider-Milkovich, will offer new insights on the state of sexual assault prevention across the country, spotlight several campus case studies of excellent prevention in action, and share a new tool for all schools to assess and benchmark their prevention efforts.

Data highlights include:

  • The increasing number of college presidents speaking publicly about sexual assault;
  • The importance of peer educators in sexual assault prevention programming on campus;
  • How to invest more and better in prevention, for ongoing impact and progress
