In Celebration of Black History Month and the 2018 NBA All-Star Game Former NBA Players visit Los Angeles School to debut Legends Shooting for Peace 306 Digital Course

Jerome Williams, the National Basketball Retired Players Association Chapters Legends and EVERFI Launch Digital African-American History Program

Los Angeles- On Thursday, February 15thformer NBA player Jerome Williams, the National Basketball Retired Players Association Chapters Legends, and education technology innovator EVERFI, Inc. will visit local students at Manual Arts High School to celebrate the launch of the Legends Shooting for Peace 306 – African-American History program.

The Legends Shooting for Peace 306 program offers students the opportunity to explore and reflect on key themes of African-American history through primary texts and compelling modules that build shared values and inspire today’s youth to become tomorrow’s leaders.

-Panel discussion celebrating African-American history while underscoring the importance of diversity and inclusion.

-B-roll opportunity of students actively working on the 306 – African American HistoryTM course with former NBA Players, panel session, and celebrity basketball game.
