8:30 – 9:15 AM | Impact Storytelling for Corporations
Companies with strong ESG values are better able to attract and retain top talent and forge emotional connections with consumers. But traditional ESG reporting often involves a range of industry-specific data that is not easily comprehended by stakeholders. How can impact storytelling bridge gaps and put social impact data into easily comprehensible contexts and perspectives? How can communicators integrate impact storytelling into broader corporate storytelling in a transparent and authentic way? |

9:30 – 10:10 AM | Breakout Discussions
Data and Governance: How to Use Data to Meet Regulatory Pressures With the emerging ESG and CSR environment, leaders are increasingly asked to report on their impact commitments while also needing to prepare for upcoming regulations, meet stakeholders’ desires, and define a completely new strategy to propel their company forward. This is all against the current political backdrop for ESG measures. There is an opportunity for regulations to level the playing field, requiring consistency and transparency among organizations. However, there isn’t a one-size fits all solution. We need measurable, digital solutions for the short term and long term to know if companies’ actions are working, and if the measures are repeatable and sustainable. |

But besides being liked, Jeff also grew LinkedIn’s membership base from 33M to more than 675M, increased its revenue from $78M to over $7.5B. Throughout his career, Jeff has pioneered the concept of compassionate management as a way to build better teams and better companies. 11:30 – 12:20 PM | Understanding the Mental Health Crisis Facing Today's Youth
Today’s kids, teens, and young adults are iGen (born after 1995), the first generation to spend their adolescence with smartphones. iGen’ers are growing up more slowly as adolescents, spending more time online, and spending less time hanging out with their friends in person. They are also spending less time sleeping. Perhaps as a result, they are more likely to experience unhappiness and depression – and that was true even before the pandemic. |

1:00 – 1:30 PM | The Diversity Dividend: A Conversation with WNBA All Star Alana Beard
While perhaps best known for her storied athletic career as a four-time WNBA All-Star, philanthropist and entrepreneur Alana Beard is utilizing the power of business and sports to create a culture shift in how women and girls experience opportunities. Today, she is the Founder of Transition Play, a talent firm specializing in transition readiness. As research by McKinsey & Morgan Stanley attests, America is struggling to close the diversity gap that exists in business, social impact, and civic leadership. Transition Play bridges the gap between the world-class, diverse, and transferable talent pool of professionals that exists in sport, and the corporate, social, and civic organizations in need of a diversity dividend. |

1:30 – 2:00 PM | Colliding Crises: Youth Mental Health & Substance Abuse
In December 2021, the US Surgeon General called for a swift and coordinated response to the “devastating mental health crisis” facing America’s youth, as the prevalence of teen depression and anxiety has doubled compared to before the pandemic. Alongside this mental health crisis, youth e-cigarette use and prescription drug misuse remain at epidemic levels. Today, many forward-looking organizations are taking a population-level approach to supporting mental health and preventing substance abuse. This panel will share innovative strategies to tackle these issues for your community – and share educator perspectives on the impact of these interventions. |
