The Seasonal Scholarship Contest is Now Open!

Entries must be received by May 3, 2024 at 5:00pm ET. Winning students may be featured on social media, websites, and online blogs owned by EVERFI and/or their customers.

How It Works and Eligibility:

The Seasonal Student Scholarship Contest is open to U.​S.​ student who have completed at least 3 EVERFI lessons in one or more courses during the 2023-2024 school year and meet any specific eligibility requirements regarding grade level, age, sponsored course and/or geographic location (i.e. specific markets and/or schools) for a specific EVERFI customer.

Entries must be received by May 3, 2023 at 5:00pm ET.

Selection of Winners

A committee of judges from EVERFI will select the final winners and notify the winners' teachers via email. Entries will be judged based on the content of message, the quality of the writing, and originality.

Students who write winning entries will receive a 529 College Savings Scholarship. Specific values of scholarships are to be determined by each EVERFI customer. Winners may be featured on social media, websites, and online blogs owned by EVERFI and their customers.

Questions

  1. What are the three most important topics or skills you learned from this EVERFI course? Explain how these things help you now and will help you in the future.
  2. What are your goals and dreams for the future (college, career, military, etc.)? Tell us how what you learned in this EVERFI course has impacted you and how it will help you reach your goals.
  3. Tell us a story about how you’ve connected what you’ve learned in this EVERFI course to your life beyond the classroom. Please share a specific example.

Terms and Conditions

Winners will receive their prize in the form of a 529 College Savings gift card. Students are able to use the gift card for any 529 College Savings Plan of their choice. For more information about the gift cards, visit Gift of College website.

Please note that the gift cards awarded will be in United States dollars, regardless of where the student resides. Winners will be required to have a parent or guardian must complete and return an authorization form within two weeks in order to receive the gift card. By accepting the 529 College Savings gift card, teachers and students acknowledge that they are complying with their individual district policy on rewards and/or incentives. EVERFI and their specific customers shall have the right, title and interest to use, market and otherwise own the content of the student submissions received from schools within their sponsored footprints.
