New York, NY (February 28th 2018) – The New York Knicks, adidas and leading education technology innovator EVERFI, Inc., announced today that they will come together to bring the 306 – African American History™ program, an interactive, web-based African-American history course designed to build shared values and inspire today’s youth to become tomorrow’s leaders, to several New York City Schools. The digital course brings to life a number of the important leaders and events whose impact changed the fabric of American life by overcoming obstacles through grit, strength, creativity and intellect.

The New York Knicks and adidas are dedicated to diversity and inclusion and aim to support cultural platforms year-round. Black History Month programming is a staple to their community portfolio and through comprehensive strategies and activations,the Knicks and adidas honor black culture.

The 306 – African American History™ program allows the Knicks and adidas to expand their celebration of Black History Month initiatives by making a lasting impact across the five boroughs of New York City through digital education. This digital African American history program has provided a way for the Knicks and adidas to engage students and continue to fulfill their commitment to this important topic throughout New York City.

The 306: African-American History digital course immerses students in a journey in which they learn about the incredible contributions that African-Americans have made in every fabric of American life including public service, the sciences, academia, and the world of the arts, music, and sports. The New York Knicks and adidas 306 – African American History program will reach hundreds of students by partnering with EVERFI to provide this digital education resource to five schools across New York City.
