EVERFI Inc., the leading social impact education innovator, today announced the appointment of Bobby Moran as Chief Revenue Officer. In this role, Moran will be responsible for leading the Company’s sales and customer success strategy and for driving integration and alignment between all revenue-related functions.

Prior to joining EVERFI, Moran spent more than eight years at POLITICO,  culminating in his appointment as Chief Revenue Officer in November 2017. In this capacity, he managed a group of more than 175 people comprised of new business, account management, operations, and client delivery teams. Under Moran’s leadership, POLITICO generated more than $100 million in annual recurring revenue by expanding on a combination of business-to-business subscriptions, advertising, events, and branded content.

“We are incredibly fortunate to have a leader of Bobby’s caliber taking on this important role as we enter the next phase of growth and expansion at EVERFI,” said Tom Davidson, Co-Founder and CEO of EVERFI. “Bobby brings a proven track record of successfully scaling a number of Software as a Service (SaaS) companies and his leadership will play a critical role in growing the impact of EVERFI’s software platform and the comprehensive critical skill networks we power.”

During his tenure at POLITICO, Moran was responsible for the launch of POLITICO Pro, a policy intelligence software platform product that delivers reporting to policy professionals. Moran managed POLITICO Pro’s overall business operations resulting in the company’s 30 percent year-over-year revenue growth for three consecutive years. “I have been watching  EVERFI’s unique business model and partner growth for a number of years,” said Moran, EVERFI’s Chief Revenue Officer. “It’s a one-of-a-kind company whose platform powers an incredibly diverse network of partners that collectively empower communities with critical life skills.   I look forward to working with leadership and internal teams to drive growth as we build a world-class social impact technology business.”

Prior to his tenure with POLITICO, Moran worked in a business development capacity for the Advisory Board Company, a healthcare consulting company based in Washington, D.C. Moran previously served in leadership roles for the Barack Obama and Hilary Clinton presidential campaigns.
