“Summer Slugger is a program that supports kids in third through fifth grade and helps them to understand math and literacy through the use of games and playing baseball… It does any amazing job of breaking down the early learning fundamentals of math and literacy, and then it allows the kids to have fun while doing it. So they don’t even know that they are learning, but they really are. Over the course of the years that we’ve worked with EVERFI on this program, 165,000 youth have engaged. And not only have they engaged, they’ve completed 1.7 million games.”
