EverFi Announces Marketing and Sales Executive Appointments

Washington, D.C. (January 30, 2013) – EverFi, the leading education technology company to teach, assess, and certify students in critical skills, announced the arrival of two new marketing and sales executives. Brian Cooley joins as Chief Marketing Officer and Brett Frazier joins as Executive Vice President of Sales. Both join EverFi from leadership roles at Blackboard Inc., a global education technology pioneer based in Washington, D.C.

As CMO of the organization, Cooley will be focused on developing the EverFi brand, driving business expansion and building a vital community of partners, educators and students. Cooley most recently served as the Vice President of Marketing of Blackboard and managed demand generation, creative, communications, and marketing operations in his six years there. He helped expand the company’s global platform adoption while managing K-12, Higher Education and International marketing teams. Prior to Blackboard, he held various demand generation and relationship marketing roles with IBM Software Group and Land Rover North America.

Brett Frazier joins EverFi as Executive Vice President of Sales. In this role, he will oversee EverFi’s sales efforts including Higher Education and K-12 sponsor sectors. Frazier joins the team after serving as Senior Vice President of Sales for Blackboard Learn ™, the company’s largest division. While at Blackboard, he managed sales and account management for a portfolio of over 3,500 clients across K-12, Higher Education, Professional Education and International divisions. Before joining Blackboard, he held sales and marketing leadership roles at Knowledge Universe, eCollege (now part of Pearson PLC) and Hallmark Cards, Inc.
