Who is a Hall of EVERFamer?

An EVERFI Teacher Ambassador who believes deeply in whole-child education for all students and brings this passion not only to their classroom but empowers others to do the same. These Teacher Ambassadors are visionaries, collaborators, and edtech enthusiasts who impact the future while bringing the community together.

Who is the Teacher Ambassador?

EVERFI's Teacher Ambassadors trusts the benefits of teaching real world skills to empower students for success. Teacher Ambassadors shine a light on the vital role of being an educator who believes in whole-child education. These TAs are innovators, community partners, and leaders who exemplify innovative learning.

Do I need active accounts for ALL the social media channels mentioned?

No. You will need to have an active account on at least 1 social media channel with preference to Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.

Will my social media accounts have to be public?

No. You do not have to change your privacy settings to public.

Will l have to meet the Teacher Ambassador Community requirements?

Yes - to remain in good standing with the TAC, you will need to complete tasks listed as in theTAC membership info flyer here.

Do I need to create new social accounts just for EVERFI?

No. You can like, follow, share and more right from your existing accounts. If you do not have any social media accounts, please create with preference given to Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.

Will I have to complete ALL of the expectations listed above?

No. We want you to participate and engage in the most comfortable way possible. For example, if you enjoy writing blogs and joining webinars then you can maintain your membership with those two contributions AND by sharing on social media. There are a few absolute requirements: sharing and engaging from any OR all of the social media accounts you have, registering and encouraging others to attend LearnOn, referring teachers to use EVERFI resources in their classroom & completing the End of Year Survey.

Will I have to write blog posts?

No. You will be able to participate by completing contributions that feel most appropriate and/or FUN for you to do. If you are not interested in writing blog posts, you can talk with our team about other ways to participate to keep yourself in good standing.

Dr. Larry Rosen is Professor Emeritus and past chair of the psychology department at California State University, Dominguez Hills. He is a research psychologist with specialties in multitasking, social networking, and educational psychology, and is recognized as an international expert in the “Psychology of Technology.”

Dr. Rosen consulted with EVERFI to develop our relaunched digital citizenship curriculum, Ignition: Digital Wellness and Safety.

Dr. Clayborne Carson is the Professor of History and Director of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Research and Education Institute at Stanford University.

Dr. Carson supported content development in EVERFI’s 306 – African-American History program. 306’s curriculum informs and inspires today’s students by exploring history’s most important stories of African-American women and men overcoming obstacles through grit, strength, creativity, and intellect.
