Scholarship Contests for K-12 Students

Everfi and our network of strategic partners are investing more than $1.5 million in college savings scholarships to expand postsecondary access and strengthen financial opportunity for students. These scholarships translate education into real-world opportunity, connecting classroom learning to early wealth-building and removing barriers for students pursuing higher education. DataSetGO: Distinguished Data Scientist Award

Principal Foundation will be awarding ten students nationally $5,000 in educational funding. The DataSetGO: Distinguished Data Scientist award is open to U.S. high school students between 13–19 years old who have completed at least one Data Science Foundations course lesson in select states*. Students must submit a 300–500-word essay for a chance to win.

MassMutual Foundation FutureSmart Scholarship Contest

The MassMutual Foundation will be awarding 60 students with $1,000–$5,000 in educational funding. The FutureSmart Scholarship Contest is open to all middle school students (grades 6–8) who live in the U.S. or Puerto Rico. Students must complete at least three lessons from either FutureSmart or SmartEconomics, and apply their course learnings to respond to an essay question. Students must submit a 300–500-word essay for a chance to win. If they’re under 13, their parent or guardian must fill out the entry form.

Application Deadline: May 31, 2026

Prize: $1,000–$5,000 in educational funding
