Washington, D.C. – Today, EVERFI Inc., the leading education technology innovator that provides online compliance training solutions to thousands of corporations, announced the hiring of Elizabeth Owens Bille who joins EVERFI after an esteemed career as General Counsel at the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).

As the Senior Director of Prevention Education at EVERFI, Elizabeth will serve as EVERFI’s lead expert on workplace harassment and discrimination prevention. In this new role, Elizabeth will drive the expansion of cutting-edge prevention resources and evidence-based online training for global and domestic corporations, advancing the impact of EVERFI’s national network of 3,000+ companies and higher education institutions.

Prior to joining EVERFI, Elizabeth was responsible for enabling the achievement of SHRM’s and its subsidiaries’ business strategies and objectives by providing expert counsel, leadership, and solutions on key legal issues, risks, and matters of governance and ethics. Prior to SHRM, Elizabeth practiced labor and employment law at Hogan & Hartson LLP (now Hogan Lovells). She also served as legal and policy counsel to the former Vice Chair of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Leslie Silverman.
