EVERFI and our network of K-12 Sponsors offer students more than $100,000 in college savings scholarships annually.

Here are the scholarships and contests currently available to students and teachers, along with eligibility requirements for each:

  • BB&T Scholarship Contest

    Students participating at BB&T Financial Foundations high schools (AL, DC, FL, GA, IN, KY, MD, NC, NJ, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, WV) who have completed 3+ lessons from EVERFI Financial Literacy are eligible.

    The contest ends May 1, 2020.

    Prize: Winning students have a chance to win up to $2,500 in a 529 Savings Plan for college.

  • Fifth Third Bank

    Students in grades 9-12 at schools sponsored by Fifth Third Bank (FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, MI, NC, OH, TN, WV) who have completed at least one lesson of a Finance Academy course (EVERFI – Financial Literacy or Venture – Entrepreneurial Expedition) during the 2019-20 school year.

    The contest ends May 15, 2020.

    Prize: $2,500 529 College Savings Scholarship

  • General - U.S. Student Scholarship Contest

    Any student in the United States who earns certification in one of the following EVERFI courses: Vault, The Compassion Project, FutureSmart, Ignition, Character Playbook, Endeavor, Future Goals - Hockey Scholar, AlcoholEdu for High School, EVERFI, Venture, 306, Summer Slugger, Mental Wellness Basics, Honor Code, Say Something, Healthier Me (Elementary or Middle), Marketplaces or Prescription Drug Safety.

    Prize: $1,000 529 College Savings Scholarship

  • General - Canada Student Scholarship Contest
