Marketplaces Scholarship: Made Possible by Edward Jones

Five students nationally will be awarded $5,000 in educational funding. The scholarship contest is open to any U.S. student, grades 9-12, that has completed the course Marketplaces: Investing Basics. The contest will be open from January 15, 2025 through March 15, 2025. Students must submit a 300-500 word essay for a chance to win.

Application Deadline: March 15, 2025

Truist Financial Foundations Scholarship Contest

Truist will be awarding four students with $2,000 in educational funding. The Financial Foundation Scholarship is open to any Truist student* between 13-19 years old who have completed at least three lessons in EVERFI: Financial Literacy for High School. Students will submit a short essay about what they learned and how the program helped them navigate financial decisions and challenges in their life and career. Must enter by May 5, 2025 for a chance to win.

Application Deadline: May 5, 2025

Prize: $2,000 in educational funding

Student Application

Entrant must be a legal U.S. resident physically residing in one of the following eligible states: AL, AR, DC, FL, GA, IN, KY, MD, MS, NJ, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, or WV (collectively, the "Eligible States") and see the Truist logo under EVERFI: Financial Literacy on their Student Dashboard.

FutureSmart Scholarship

The MassMutual Foundation is excited to offer a total of $50,000 in 529 college savings gift cards to twenty-two deserving student winners throughout the school year. To enter, students must complete at least three (3) modules from either the FutureSmart or SmartEconomics programs. Participants are also required to submit a short essay (350-500 words) addressing a question about their future and explaining how the financial knowledge gained from these modules can help them achieve their goals and dreams. Parental consent is required for participation.

Application Deadline: January 13, 2025 (Fall Semester) and June 9, 2025 (Spring Semester)

Prize: $2,000 - $5,000 529 College Savings Gift Card

Accounting Careers National Scholarship Contest

Accounting+ will be awarding twenty students nationally $5,000 in educational funding. The Accounting Careers: Limitless Opportunities Scholarship is open to U.S. high school students between 13-19 years old who have completed at least one Accounting Careers: Limitless Opportunities course module. Students must submit a 300-500 word essay for a chance to win.

Application Deadline: April 15th, 2025

Credit Worthy Scholarship Contest

OneMain Financial will be awarding thirty-six students nationally with $1,000 in educational funding. The Credit Worthy Scholarship is open to U.S. high school students between 13-19 years old who have completed Build: Credit Fundamentals or at least 3 modules of a course offered in the Credit Worthy program presented by OneMain Financial. Students will submit a short essay about what they learned and how the Credit Worthy program by OneMain Financial has made an impact on them for a chance to win.

Application Deadline: January 15, 2025 (Fall Semester) and May 6, 2025 (Spring Semester)

Prize: $1,000 in educational funding

DataSetGo Distinguished Scholar Award

Principal Foundation will be awarding ten students nationally $5,000 in educational funding. The Distinguished Scholar Award is open to any Principal Foundation student* in grades 9-12 who has completed at least one of the Data Science Foundations or Data Science Exploration: Financial Wellness digital lessons. The contest will be open throughout the 2024-2025 academic year. Students must submit a 300-500 word essay for a chance to win.

Financial Futures Student Scholarship Contest

In partnership with Intuit for Education, one student winner will be awarded $2,500 in educational funding from each semester-based entry period during the 2024-25 school year. The Financial Futures Student Scholarship Contest is open to students (age 13-19) who have completed at least one lesson within the course Tax Simulation: Understanding Taxes. To enter for a chance-to-win, students will be asked to submit an application form and share how learning about tax topics has made an impact on their life through a reflection essay (200-500 words).

Application Deadline: January 12, 2025 (Fall Semester) and May 4, 2025 (Spring Semester)
