How It Works and Eligibility:
The EVERFI Student Scholarship Competition is open to any Canadian student in grades K-12 who has completed and earned certification during the 2019-2020 school year in one of EVERFI’s K-12 courses.
Students who have completed multiple courses this year may submit an entry for each course in which they earned certification.
Entries must be received by January 17, 2020 at 5:00pm EST.
Selection of Winers
A committee of judges from EVERFI will select the final winners by January 30, 2020. Entries will be judged based on the content of message, the quality of the writing, and originality. Five winners will be selected, and their entries will be featured on the EVERFI Blog and Facebook Page on January 30, 2020.
Winners will each receive a $1,000 529 College Savings Scholarship.

Terms and Conditions
Winners will receive a $1000 529 College Savings gift card. Students are able to use the gift card for any 529 College Savings Plan of their choice. For more information about the gift cards, visit Leaf College Savings.
Please note that the gift cards awarded will be in United States dollars, regardless of where the student resides. Winners will be emailed an authorization form that a parent or guardian must complete and return within two weeks in order to receive the gift card. By accepting the 529 College Savings gift card, teachers and students acknowledge that they are complying with their individual district policy on rewards and/or incentives. EVERFI shall have the right, title and interest to use, market and otherwise own the content of the submitted blog.
In order to deposit funds into a 529 Plan, students must be a U.S. citizen or resident alien with a valid social security number or other taxpayer identification number. Click here for more information about 529 Plans.
