Chrome
- In the browser bar, enter: chrome://settings/clearBrowserData
- Or, the Windows keyboard shortcut is Ctrl+Y, then select “Clear browsing data” on the right-hand side.
- In the pop up window, you can choose All Time.
- Select Cached images and files
- Select Cookies and other site data
- Click Clear Data
- Exit/quit all browser windows and re-open the browser.
Firefox
- Select the “View history..” icon
- The Windows keyboard shortcut is Shift+Ctrl+Delete.
- From the Time range to clear: drop-down, select Everything.
- Select “History”
- Select “Clear Recent History”
- Select “Time range to clear”: Everything
- Click “Details” to open up the options
- Make sure “Cache” is selected
- Select “Clear now”
- Exit/quit all browser windows and re-open the browser.
Microsoft Edge
- In the top right, click the Hub icon (looks like a star with three horizontal lines).
- Click the History icon, and then select Clear all history.
- Select Browsing history, then Cookies and saved website data, and then Cached data and files. Click Clear.
- After the “All Clear!” message appears, exit/quit all browser windows and re-open the browser.
Safari
Safari 8
- From the Safari menu, select Clear History and Website Data…
- Select the desired time range, and then click Clear History.
- Go to Safari > Quit Safari or press Command-Q to exit the browser completely.
Safari 7 and Below
- From the Safari menu, select Reset Safari….
- Select the items you want to reset, and then click Reset. As of Safari 5.1, Remove all website data includes both cookies and cache.
- Go to Safari > Quit Safari or press Command-Q to exit the browser completely.
Internet Explorer 11
- Select the gear icon (Tools) at the top right of your screen.
- Select “Internet Options” and then the “Delete” button from the small menu
- The keyboard shortcut is Ctrl + Shift + Delete (on Windows PCs).
- Exit/quit all browser windows and re-open the browser.
