As Head of Human Resources at EVERFI, Michael Salamey is on a mission to cultivate a workplace where talent thrives and innovation flourishes. Armed with an MBA, Master of Science in Human Resources Management, and a Master of Science in Management and Leadership, Michael has developed a passion for developing people and a proven history of building successful teams. 

Michael’s reputation has led him to be frequently quoted in articles and invited on popular business podcasts. Some of his accolades include recognition by SHRM (the Society for Human Resources Management) for swift, decisive action to protect people while keeping businesses running during the COVID-19 pandemic, being featured in HR Magazine for his unique approach to upskilling, and driving two separate organizations into the coveted “Tampa Bay Fast 50” growing companies list. 

When not championing employee success, you might find Michael perfecting his espresso-making skills, exploring Tampa’s vibrant vegan scene, or getting lost exploring Florida’s mangroves on a paddle board.  

 Michael comes from a family of educators and holds several professional certifications in HR, including a senior professional certification (SHRM-SCP), Inclusive Workplace Culture, and executive leadership 301 certifications.
