COURSE OVERVIEW

Preventing Workplace Violence and Preventing Workplace Violence for Leaders form a comprehensive suite of courses that teach employees to recognize, prevent and respond to workplace violence. Our interactive approach to training encourages learners to be mindful, rather than fearful, of the risks of violence. With a focus on skill-building through realistic scenarios, our courses empower employees to take action to reduce their risk.

MEETING STATE TRAINING REQUIREMENTS AND UNIQUE ORGANIZATIONAL NEEDS

With exciting new updates, retail employers with New York locations can utilize our training to meet the June 2, 2025 requirements of the Retail Worker Safety Act. Additionally, as of 2024, employers can use the Preventing Workplace Violence courses to align to California’s workplace violence law (SB 553).

With customization points strategically placed throughout the course, you can include key information and documents, such as your company’s specific workplace violence plan, violent incident log, methods of reporting, emergency procedures, emergency exits and meeting places, areas of previous security problems, and other worksite-specific topics. We even provide a built-in mechanism so learners can ask questions to get answers from someone knowledgeable about their company’s Plan.
