Our Youth Community Health Solutions
EVERFI’s Youth Community Health Education Program is designed to empower individuals and foster healthier communities by addressing the missing learning layer in classrooms. Designed with health systems in mind, this initiative offers a holistic solution to addressing the pressing health-related challenges in communities across the nation, and providing resources and learning that closes gaps and moves the needle on key metrics. Whether you are looking to fulfill the commitments of your Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA), kickoff community engagement programs, or stay connected to the people you serve, EVERFI’s program can help you elevate both your community and your brand.
This course covers key character and resiliency learning competencies such as the development of the understanding of self, others and impact of the actions we take. The course consists of 6 lessons (3 digital), lasting approximately 10 minutes each, and is also available in Spanish.
A digital literacy and citizenship course dedicated to providing students grades 6-9 with the skills they need to safely and confidently navigate the digital world. The course helps students acknowledge the benefits of digital communities and resources while guiding them to successfully navigate potential pitfalls in their digital lives. The course consists of six digital modules lasting approximately 25 minutes each and is also available in French and Spanish.
Introduces students to the topic of mental health and the ways in which they can implement coping strategies to manage their own challenging thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. The course will recognize that students can be faced with external circumstances beyond their control which can impact their mental health. Students will learn how to support friends and family who may be struggling, how to recognize when to seek help, and how to access appropriate resources to do so. The course consists of six modules lasting approximately 10-15 minutes each and is also available in Spanish.
Takes public health approach to preventing alcohol abuse through evidence-based materials and a highly engaging user experience. From leveraging personal values and goals to resisting peer pressure, students learn to make smart decisions around alcohol. The course consists of five modules lasting approximately 20-25 minutes each.
An innovative digital course that arms high school students with the knowledge and tools to make healthy, informed decisions when it comes to prescription medications. Through interactive scenarios and self-guided activities, students learn the facts about drugs, how to properly use and dispose of them, and how to step in when faced with a situation involving misuse. The course consists of six modules lasting approximately 10-15 minutes each.
Empower high school students to develop health literacy skills, become advocates for their own health care, and know when and where to ask for help when making health-related decisions. The courses consists of four modules total lasting approximately 15 minutes each and is also available in Spanish.
Is a new course created by Truth Initiative and Kaiser Permanente, in collaboration with the American Heart Association, on vaping prevention and resources to quit made available at no cost to students and teachers. The course consists of four modules lasting approximately 5-10 minutes each and is also available in Spanish.
