Ray Martinez is Co-Founder and President of EVERFI. In this capacity, he leads the company’s Financial Education and Conduct & Culture business units. EVERFI’s Financial Education offerings power financial capability programs for hundreds of financial institutions across the country. Through Ray’s vision and leadership, EVERFI’s Financial Capability Network has grown to include more than 900 financial institutions that deliver critical personal finance, entrepreneurship, and investment education to K-12 students and adults in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and Canada.

Ray also established the strategic vision for EVERFI’s Conduct & Culture business. With Ray’s leadership, the Conduct & Culture teams with many Fortune 1000 companies to deliver best-in-class compliance training solutions for employees. The company supports many of the world’s largest brands seeking to cultivate a healthy and inclusive workforce both in the U.S. and internationally.

During Ray’s tenure at EVERFI, he has led a number of the company’s critical initiatives including designing large scale strategic partnerships with MassMutual, Pentagon Federal Credit Union, TCF Bank, TIAA, TD Bank, Santander, Fifth Third Bank, BB&T, along with many others with corporations, and nonprofits. His leadership has helped EVERFI power education programs that have brought critical skills to more than 30 million learners and 20,000 schools.

Ray has deep connections to Puerto Rico and is passionate about closing the achievement gap for children and families and bringing increasing business opportunities to the island. This has been especially important to him following the devastation resulting from Hurricane Maria in 2017. He has worked both individually and with EVERFI partners in a growing commitment to rebuild key infrastructure and ensure that schools have the technology and skills necessary to be competitive in a global economy. Ray is a sought after speaker and media contributor on topics related to financial wellness education and technology, and strategic workplace initiatives. In 2019, he was awarded Washington Business Journal’s Minority Business Leader Award.
