The first few months of 2023 have continued to pose economic challenges for consumers—increased layoffs, above-average inflation, and a down market—leaving many financially vulnerable and unprepared.
Research shows that financial wellbeing comes from a strong foundation of both financial literacy (what you know) and financial capability (how you’re prepared to act). By helping future consumers build financial capability and resiliency from the earliest ages, you can help them weather their financial storms.
Studies show that students need continual, age-appropriate learning opportunities to build financial literacy and financially healthy habits into adulthood. EVERFI's financial education courses are developed with this research in mind and are shown to improve financial knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors—leading to more financially informed and prepared consumers. 1
