Accommodating Disabilities


The Americans with Disabilities Amendments Act (ADAAA) modified the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in 2009, expanding the group of people who will be covered and putting more emphasis on employers’ behavior when cases go to court. From a comprehensive explanation of the amended Act to necessary accommodations and best practices, this Americans with Disabilities Act training course teaches supervisors how to navigate the legal dangers that arise when disability issues are mishandled in the workplace.

Our course on global anti-corruption laws seeks to enforce the fact that these laws apply to everyone, including your partners and the other third parties you work with. Antitrust and fair competition laws, or “competition” laws, are put into place by countries around the world to ensure fair marketplace competition. These laws prevent businesses from reducing competition through illegal means such as bid rigging and price fixing. The practice of fair competition allows for the consumer to receive the highest quality goods at the lowest prices, thereby promoting a healthy global marketplace.

This course is intended for employees who are likely to be exposed to potentially infected bodily fluids, including first-aid responders, maintenance personnel, janitorial staff, and any personnel assigned to clean up such fluids. Other employees should receive the same training for awareness purposes so that all employees understand how to handle hazardous situations and whom they should report to, so that spills are cleaned up correctly.
